The Russian summer camp organized by the College in 2024 has recently concluded successfully. The students visited and studied at the Russian University of Transport, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Saint Petersburg State University of Transport, partaking in a program that was rich in content and diverse in format.
During their time at these Russian universities, students participated in Russian language courses and practical Russian experience classes, immersing themselves in the culture and educational style of these institutions. In addition to academic activities, the summer camp also included visits to renowned historical and cultural sites such as the Red Square, Saint Basil's Cathedral, the Winter Palace, and the Peter and Paul Fortress.
Throughout the summer camp, students experienced firsthand the differences between the living environments, social atmospheres, and educational systems of China and Russia, gaining a profound understanding of the diversity of world cultures and civilizations. Through this summer camp, participants learned through practice and grew through exploration, broadening their international perspectives and acquiring valuable knowledge and experience.
The Silk Road Academy (School of International Education) made meticulous and detailed preparations for the students' summer camp in Russia, coordinating accommodations, dining, study, and excursion arrangements. This initiative is of great significance for the College in further developing international exchange activities for students and expanding its study abroad programs.
