The Traditional Chinese Medicine Lu Ban Workshop Teaching Resource Database Construction Seminar took place in Guangzhou from April 26th to 28th.The seminar aimed to promote the international development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the new era, clarify the construction work content of the TCM Lu Ban Workshop Teaching Resource Database, and refine the division of labor.Vice President Ni Ju attended the seminar, and the heads of relevant departments, including the School of Pharmacy and the School of Nursing, participated.The college was successfully selected as a founding unit for the construction of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Lu Ban Workshop Teaching Resource Database.
Keynote speeches were given at the seminar by Margit Erdei, Director of the Hungarian Szeged Vocational Education Center, Birgit Nicoau Costa, Director of the Medical Department of the Estonian Tallinn Health Care College, and other foreign experts, as well as Li Huajie, Chief Representative of the UK NARIC in China. They discussed the current status of the development and application of TCM in overseas countries, the demand for its introduction, and the construction and promotion of international resources.The leading units responsible for the construction of the five professional teaching resource databases presented their construction plans, covering aspects such as the foundation, ideas, approaches, and work arrangements.
As the vice-chair unit of the TCM Lu Ban Workshop Cooperation Community, the college will concentrate on constructing the professional teaching resource databases related to traditional Chinese medicine and TCM health preservation within the Lu Ban Workshop.Utilizing this seminar as an opportunity and leveraging the Lu Ban Workshop project, the college aims to deepen cooperation among schools, between colleges, and between educational institutions and enterprises.The college will harness education to stimulate economic and scientific cooperation and to advance the 'Belt and Road' initiative, aiming to globalize TCM vocational education.
