ZZRVTC Completed the Development of 2 National Occupational Standards of Tanzania

ZZRVTC has recently received commendation from the Tanzania National Vocational Education Committee for the successful completion of two national vocational standards: Railway Locomotive Operation and Maintenance Engineer NTA Level 8 and Nursing NTA Level 6. The committee expressed gratitude and issued certificates of accreditation to all participants involved in this commendable undertaking.

In September 2022, ZZRVTC applied to participate in the second batch of the national vocational standards development project organized by the Tanzania National Council for Technical Education. ZZRVTC undertook the responsibility of developing the two crucial national vocational standards for Tanzania, namely Railway Locomotive Operation and Maintenance Engineer Level 8 and Nursing Level 6. Through the collaborative efforts of all staff members, it took one year to successfully complete the research, demonstration, development, and evaluation of these standards, earning high praise from the Tanzania National Council for Technical Education.

The development of overseas national vocational standards marks a milestone for ZZRVTC in actively contributing to the construction of the Belt and Road. This initiative holds significant importance in promoting the inclusive development of vocational education in countries along the Belt and Road and facilitating the international dissemination of Chinese standards.
