Recently, the Xinhua News Agency reported on the touching story of Yan Yiming and Yan Yifeng, staff members of the China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co., Ltd., standing at the front lines of the Spring Festival travel rush. The two sisters’ experience was recorded in a mini-documentary.
Yan Yiming and Yan Yifeng graduated from ZZRVTC’s Silk Road Academy (School of International Education) in 2020 as outstanding graduates. After graduation, Yan Yiming joined the Huaiyang South Railway Station as a passenger attendant on the high-speed railway platform; Yan Yifeng joined the Zhengzhou Passenger Traffic department as a high-speed train attendant. In the workplace, the two sisters continued learning from each other and progressed together. To serve passengers attentively, they memorized the national railway network, becoming “walking maps for the high-speed railway network”. During their journey, they made skillful use of traditional farming culture, Huangmei opera and folk dances to create a warm atmosphere for passengers. During the “Two Sessions”, Yan Yifeng served a number of deputies on the high-speed trains. With her solid professionalism and sincere dedication, she was able to gain high praise. The attentive and thoughtful service offered by the two sisters burnishes the image of China Railway for the new era, particularly the image of China High-Speed Rail.
