Recently, the Chinese Education Association for International Exchange officially announced the projects that have been shortlisted and are to be cultivated in the first batch of Future Africa - China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Project. The China-Ethiopian Zhan Tianyou Institute Railway Transportation Talent Training Program of ZZRVTC was successfully selected. Among the 20 projects selected countywide, ZZRVTC is the only one from Henan Province.

The China-Ethiopian Zhan Tianyou Institute Railway Transportation Talent Training Program is jointly organized and implemented by ZZRVTC, the Ethiopian National Railway Group-Railway College, and Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway. So far, it has launched internationalized professional teaching standards, core course standards, and teaching resources for three majors. It has also trained a group of local teachers and established an innovative talent training model, effectively meeting the human resource needs of Chinese-funded enterprises overseas. The shortlisting of the Future Africa program will further expand the impact and influence of the China-Ethiopian Zhan Tianyou Institute, enhancing the school's cross-border industry-education synergy.

The selection of China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Projects is an essential tool for implementing the China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Program proposed by President Xi Jinping at the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). It aims to improve Africa's applied talent training level and promote the enhancement of local vocational education capabilities. Under the framework of the Future Africa Program, China-Africa vocational colleges and universities will explore cooperation potential, establish cooperation models, and play an exemplary role, making positive contributions to the promotion of the inclusive development of vocational education and the construction of the Belt and Road.
