Launching Ceremony of the International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program in Our College

On August 12, the launching ceremony of the International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program was performed in No. 302 meeting room of the office building in the school.     On August 12, the launching ceremony of the International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program was performed in No. 302 meeting room of the office building in the school. Li Huajie, the chief representative in China of the National Recognition Information Center for the United Kingdom (UK NARIC), Jiao Mansheng, the president of NARIC International Education and Technology Co., Ltd. and the secretary general of the Chinese council of UK NARIC, Mei Feng, the manager of the business development department in China of UK NARIC and Dong Lisheng and Ni Ju, the vice presidents of the school attended the ceremony and the heads of the relevant departments and some core teachers of the school were also involved in the ceremony. Ni Ju, the vice president chaired the ceremony.

 

    In the meeting, Dong Lisheng welcomed every guest on behalf of the school. He pointed out that the International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program in the Higher Vocational Education Field was an important measure adopted to make contributions to the Construction Plan of High-level Vocational Colleges & Specialties with Chinese Characteristics” of many Chinese vocational colleges, increase the international school-running level, and create an international brand for Chinese vocational education. The school will fully cooperate with the National Recognition Information Center for the United Kingdom at every task node of the Construction Plan of High-level Vocational Colleges & Specialties with Chinese Characteristics”, accelerate the international professional construction, develop the professional standards and course system applicable to the international world, and lay a firm foundation for providing the international education exchange and service and deeply blending the construction of the “the Belt and Road”.

    Ms. Li Huajie appreciated the recognition and support of our college for the International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program in the Higher Vocational Education Fieldin the speech, and read out the congratulatory letter issued by Doctor Baiyun, the chief executive officer of UK NARIC. She indicated the expert group of UK NARIC would test the international quality standards and benchmark the international standards for the railway locomotive major, railway vehicle major, CRH train service technology major and nursing major of the school, and promote the major connotation construction, improve the talent cultivation quality and accelerate the “Construction Plan of High-level Vocational Colleges & Specialties with Chinese Characteristics” and internationalization process from the perspectives of standardization, normalization and internationalization.

    After that, Dong Lisheng and Jiao Mansheng, the president of NARIC jointly entered into the Contract of International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program of Zhengzhou Railway Vocational & Technical College and unveiled the nameplate for the experimental college of the International Professional Standards Evaluation and Recognition Program in the Higher Vocational Education Field. And, Ni Ju and Li Huajie jointly unveiled the nameplate for the Member Unit of the National Recognition Information Center for the United Kingdom.

 

    After the ceremony, Ms. Li Huajie answered the questions raised in the first training of our college and visited the training room of the rail transit building.
