Adjacent Room
相邻的房间。房间没有连通门，但是彼此相连。
ADR （Average Daily Rate）
平均房价。客房收入除以售出房间数。
Allotment （block）
预留房，又叫保留房。为团队或专用活动留出的一部分房间，多数酒店在旺季预留时间是10天，而淡季是7天。
Block A room
保留房。在特定的日子为确定的人保留的房间。
Cancellation
取消客人不再需要的预定。
Channel
渠道。商业来源的种类和渠道。习惯于把来源前后对照作为统计目的。
Check-in
入住。在客人到达酒店时做的登记过程。
Check-out
退房。客人结帐和腾出房间的过程。
Check-out Time
退房时间。在退房时酒店给客人指定的时间腾出房间，退房时间对于很多酒店一般是中午12点钟之前。
Day Use
日用房。涉及客人入住和退房在同一天，退房必须是在酒店规定时间或下午6点之前。酒店在旺季一般不出售日用房。
Day Use Rate
日用房价格。在白天期间使用房间费用的数额，但不包括晚上，费用通常是正常价格的一半。
Discount Percentage
折扣。从正常价格拿掉的百分比，例如社团价格、旅行社价格、团队价格等等。
Guest Folio
客人帐单。客人在酒店费用的证明。
Guest History
客人历史资料。记录显示以前客人入住我们酒店的具体信息。
Half Board
半膳住宿和选择性的早餐、午餐或者晚餐。
House use rooms
自用房，包括：
1）房间永久的被员工或者雇主使用
2）房间永久性的作为储藏室
3）房间用来做酒店的办公室
Late check-out
延迟退房。在正常退房时间以后由酒店来分配额外的时间，延迟退房通常要提前批准并且根据当天的入住情况来决定。
Promotions
促销。个别酒店通常为一段有限的时间或者局部市场而创的。例如中国北方区市场，亲子游等。
Rack rate
门市价。某一房间的通常价格，也叫全价。
Suite
套房。房间由一个或者两个卧室组成还有一个连通的休息室(客厅/起居室)。
Triple room
三人间。当3个人用一个房间的时候。
Twin room
双人间。 一个房间有两张单人床。
Two Way
双向通路。酒店管理软件与第三方软件进行一个对接，一面可以上传预订，一面又可以下载预订，施行房态实时监控。
